Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Vidisee cloud storage.

Getting Started

Vidisee is a cloud storage service that provides secure, S3-compatible object storage. When you sign up for a plan, you receive API credentials (Access Key ID and Secret Access Key) that you can use with any S3-compatible tool to store and retrieve your data.

After purchasing a plan, you'll receive your S3 credentials on your dashboard. You can use these with tools like the AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, or any application that supports the S3 protocol. Your dashboard includes a quick-start guide with example commands.

Vidisee is S3-compatible, so it works with any tool that supports the S3 API. Popular options include AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, Mountain Duck, s3cmd, and most backup software that supports S3 storage.

Billing & Plans

We offer two monthly plans: Standard (2 TB at $35/mo) and Pro (3 TB at $39/mo). Both plans include S3 API access, 256-bit encryption, and file versioning. The Pro plan adds team member access, priority support, and usage analytics.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Your data is never deleted when changing plans.

No hidden fees. Our pricing includes generous data transfer allowances. You can download up to 3x your storage capacity per month at no additional cost. There are no API request fees.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

Security & Privacy

All data stored with Vidisee is encrypted at rest using 256-bit AES encryption (SSE-B2). Data in transit is protected with SSL/TLS encryption. Your encryption keys are managed securely and are never exposed.

Your data is stored in enterprise-grade data centers with redundant storage systems. Data is replicated across multiple drives to protect against hardware failure.

Our infrastructure partners maintain SOC 2 compliance. We're committed to helping businesses meet their compliance requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, and other data protection regulations.

Technical

Individual files can be up to 5 TB in size. For files larger than 100 MB, we recommend using multipart uploads for better reliability and performance.

Yes, file versioning is enabled on all plans. When you overwrite a file, the previous version is preserved and can be restored at any time.

We maintain a 99.9% uptime SLA. Our infrastructure is built on enterprise-grade systems with automatic failover and redundancy.

Vidisee is designed for object storage and backup. While you can serve files from your bucket, for website hosting we recommend pairing Vidisee with a CDN like Cloudflare for optimal performance.
